The Ruby Luna Hotel with their 198 rooms is located in the picturesque Carlstadt. Built in the 1950s, the building is the towering testimony to the most ambitious of all eras - the departure into space, which is also reflected in the design. Königsallee, Düsseldorf's famous boulevard with its shops, cafés and restaurants, is only 200 meters away. The legendary old town with its many traditional pubs and bars as well as the nightlife around Ratinger Straße are also within walking distance.

Trust us, you won't get bored, as you: 

  • assure and monitoring the stipulated housekeeping quality standards
  • manage the external cleaning company and the laundry with a specific focus on capacity and quality management
  • check, release and allocate cleaned rooms
  • coordinate and monitor the „out of order“ and „out of service“ rooms
  • take care and organize the plants and flowers as well as seasonal decorations in coordination with our design team
  • look after the final packing and reordering of the guest supplies in our „Guest Galley“ as well as the
  • preparation of the procurement of work materials and consumables in cooperation with our Operations Team
  • are in charge of the management of the lost property, including organising the return of lost property
  • instigating care and repair measures
  • monitor and adhere to the housekeeping budget
  • take over the duties of the manager on duty / on-call service
  • support other departments as needed

We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:

  • professional training in Hospitality Management or similar
  • several years of experience in a similar position in the individual or private hotel sector with a lifestyle character
  • extensive experience working with external cleaning companies
  • an eye for detail and a high degree of quality consciousness
  • a cost-conscious and environmentally aware way of thinking and acting
  • a strong hands-on mentality and sense for responsibility
  • high personal commitment and intrinsic motivation
  • dependability and very good organizational skills
  • both a team leader and a team player with high social competence
  • very good working knowledge of MS Office and of all legally mandated hygiene requirements
  • a business fluent command of English and German
